Olivia Rodrigo has opened up about her recent fall on stage.

The pop star has opened up about the recent mishap, which saw her fall through a hole on stage during a performance in Melbourne, Australia earlier this month.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday, Olivia watched a clip of the incident.

"Oh my God, that was fun! I'm OK," Olivia, 21, could be heard saying after she climbed out of the hole. "Wow, sometimes, just there's just a hole in the stage."

Speaking about the fall, the Vampire hitmaker admitted that despite her calm reaction, the moment was "really scary".

"Watching the video back, it's pretty terrifying," she told host Jimmy Fallon. "I mean the show must go on, that's showbiz baby."

Olivia then revealed that the incident led to a special moment.

"It was actually kind of a beautiful thing and I'm really happy it happened in hindsight," she said. "So I had just been to the Philippines. That was my next stop, Australia, after the Philippines."

The Deja Vu singer continued, "And I was thinking about my family and my heritage and my relatives and I fell and I was like all shaken up. And I went to the hospital after. Nothing happened but they just wanted to make sure I didn't have a concussion."

The star, who is of Filipino heritage, went on to reveal she ended up meeting a Filipino nurse who shared a name with Olivia's grandfather, "who just passed away a few months ago".

"And so I was like wow that was him looking out for me," she shared. "Making sure I didn't get hurt and so I'm really happy it happened. I think it's a beautiful story."
