At long last the south-east of England will get the summer time music festival that it has been waiting for!

Beachdown Festival will set up camp on the outskirts of Brighton this August Bank Holiday, sprawling itself across the green, green grass of the South Downs.

The festival promises to deliver a whole lot more than its peers; expect a plethora of music genres, big name acts and a healthy diet featuring only the finest locally sourced, organic eats and treats.

From Friday 22nd – Monday 25th August, Beachdown Festival will resonate across the South Downs in East Sussex. Finally music lovers from the south east of England will have the accessible, quality music festival that it has been longing for. In fact, quality is the name of the game for Beachdown, with its organisers hell bent on providing the very best of everything, from heavenly hygiene to the finest of foods.

The line-up will delight a range of musical taste buds, with stages showcasing a host of genres. Beachdown will not only be bringing high profile names to the Sussex coast but it will also be taking advantage of the abundance of talent that exists on the Brighton music scene by showcasing the cream of local talent. Expect some of the most classic names to appear alongside cutting edge bands and performers.

Beachdown aims to position itself as the fundamental representative of Brighton’s musical and cultural diversity. Beachdown will take place on the outskirts of Brighton, upon acres of picturesque farmland close to Devils Dyke. The festival experience will be efficient, easy and versatile. A limited number of day tickets will be on sale as well as weekend tickets, whilst camping facilities will be available in addition to a fleet of shuttle buses running both day and night into Brighton. The festival will make room for a throng of 15,000 music fans and festival goers, with a projected camping capacity of 11,000. A day pass will cost £30 and a full weekend pass will be the steal of the century priced at £85. The food stalls on site will offer locally sourced and organic menus, some of which will be offered by local brand name restaurants such as Pinxto People and Pokeno Pies. Even more impressive, the event aims to be one of the most carbon neutral music festivals to grace our fair countryside.
