Katy Perry has shared a tribute to her daughter Daisy Dove on Mother's Day
The singer took fans on a journey through her parenthood experience, via social media.
"Today I told my mother that the day I realized how much she loved me is the day I had my own daughter, Daisy Dove… there is nothing like a Mother’s love… never take it for granted," Katy, 39, wrote, to accompany a carousel of photos and videos on Instagram.
"Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and caretakers — any way you come."
She went on to caption each of the images and videos she was sharing, with the first being, "Og pee stick!" for a photo of her positive pregnancy test.
Next was, "Telling O I was pregnant (he was filming in Prague)", to go with a screen grab of her fiancé Orlando Bloom, smiling while on a video call.
That was followed by, "Telling my brothers @lukebryan @lionelrichie the big news on set in Hawaii at #idol", with a clip of Katy telling her fellow American Idol judges Luke Bryan, 47, and Lionel Richie, 74, that she was "very pregnant".
The fourth caption, "Hearing Daisy’s heartbeat for the first time" accompanied a video of Katy smiling as she watched an ultrasound.
Finally, "Some bump pics from before I met my Daisy Dove" was Katy's caption for a series of stylish pregnancy photos.
Katy and Orlando, 47, welcomed Daisy Dove in August 2020.
