Sisqo's children are "brutally honest" with their reactions to his new songs.

The Thong Song hitmaker revealed to People that his young children Kimiqo, nine, and Ryu, 11, don't hold back when he plays them his new tracks.

When asked if he'd support his children pursuing a career in entertainment, he replied, "I'd be as brutally honest as they are with me. They are my whole A&R (artists and repertoire) team. If I play a song, they leave the room or start asking me about a different song, then I know that that one ain't dope."

Sisqo shares his two younger children with his wife Elizabeth Pham, while he also has a 29-year-old daughter named Shaione from a previous relationship.

Earlier this month, the Dru Hill star was unveiled as the voice behind the Lizard on The Masked Singer. During the show, the clues revealed that he once turned down an offer to work as an animator at Disney.

In his interview, Sisqo, real name Mark Andrews, revealed that his parents did not approve of his career decision at the time.

"Turning down the opportunity to draw for Disney did not go over so well with my parents," he shared. "So I had no choice but to make one of these talents work because they wasn't going to let me forget how I fumbled that bag.

"However, ironically enough, the second movie that I had ever shot in my entire career was a movie with Disney called Snow Dogs, so we ended up working together anyway."

In addition to his music career, Sisqo appeared in the early 2000s films Get Over It, Snow Dogs and Pieces of April.
