Mary J. Blige is "beyond grateful" to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul took to Instagram on Sunday night to react to the news that she will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in October.

"Beyond grateful!!!!!! This is incredible!!!" Mary, 53, wrote alongside a video featuring clips from her decades-long music career.

She continued, "This is incredible!!! God always has the final say!!!! Thank you to my fans all over the world!!!! Tears of Joy!!!!"

The news was announced on Sunday's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night episode of American Idol.

Several stars took to the comments section of the post to congratulate the Family Affair hitmaker.

Taraji P. Henson wrote, "YAAAAAASSSS SIS!!!! CONGRATS!!!" while Kandi Burruss wrote, "Congratulations!!!!!!"

The Grammy winner's fellow inductees include Cher, Kool & the Gang, Ozzy Osbourne, Dave Matthews Band, Foreigner, A Tribe Called Quest and Peter Frampton. During the ceremony, the Musical Excellence Award will also be presented to Dionne Warwick, the late Jimmy Buffett, MC5, and late songwriter/producer Norman Whitfield.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on 19 October at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
