Kid Cudi broke his foot after jumping off the stage during his Coachella set on Sunday.

The Day 'N' Nite hitmaker's set came to an abrupt end when he decided to jump from the stage in the Sahara tent to be closer to his fans during his song Memories.

Video footage showed Cudi, real name Scott Mescudi, landing awkwardly and rolling onto the grass between the stage and the audience barricade. Unable to continue his performance, he was escorted out of the tent by two men as he couldn't put any weight on his foot.

The rapper and actor confirmed on X/Twitter hours later that he had broken his foot.

"Hey guys, so I broke my foot today at the show... just leavin the hospital," he wrote. "Never broken a bone before so this is all a bit crazy. I wanna thank u all for ur concerns and well wishes!! I love yall man. I heard yall still ragin when I was offstage. Made me smile big (sic)."

According to the Desert Sun, Cudi was towards the end of his 40-minute set and only had one-and-a-half songs left to go when he suffered the injury. Fans were treated to a recording of his song, Pursuit of Happiness, to end the set in his absence.

Cudi, who last performed at Coachella in 2019, was a last-minute addition for the second weekend.
