Perrie Edwards has revealed that she and her fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have "never lived" together.

The Little Mix singer has shared that she and her footballer fiancé, with whom she has two-year-old son Axel, have never shared a home.

During an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, Perrie opened up about being in a long-distance relationship with Alex, who plays for Turkish football club Besiktas.

"When he was playing for Liverpool and based in Manchester, it was so easy to do the back and forth but Turkey is a little bit further and he doesn't get a lot of time off," the Black Magic hitmaker said.

"I'm trying to launch a solo career whilst having a two-year-old so it is a lot to juggle but we make it work for the ones we love don't we?" she continued. "We've never lived together anyway - the whole eight years we've been in a relationship we've never actually lived together."

Perrie and the footballer first sparked dating rumours in late 2016. The couple welcomed their son in August 2021 and got engaged the following year.

Elsewhere in the interview, Perrie revealed that one of the tracks on her forthcoming debut solo album will reveal details about their relationship.

"Full disclosure, me and my partner don't argue, we're very laid back and very chilled. But at the same time, I can be a little bit of a petty b**ch and I can't help it," the hitmaker joked. "I just can't help the way I am, I'm just like that but we just started writing a song about it and I just thought the lyrics were super relatable."

Perrie released her debut solo single, Forget About Us, on Friday. The Jonathan Ross Show airs on Saturdays.
