Amber Rose has denied that she dated Chris Rock.

After being spotted out and about with the comedian in New York City late last year, the model has clarified that they are just friends.

"It was not (a date)," Amber told Entertainment Tonight in an interview on Wednesday. "I've been friends with Chris Rock for, like, 13 years."

The 40-year-old continued, "We met for coffee. We talked some c**p to each other. He made me laugh because he's hilarious, and that's our friendship. Just friendship."

Amber explained that she didn't post about spending time with the Grown Ups star, 59, at the time because she didn't want people to think they were dating.

"Well that's the whole interesting part about it, probably why I never posted like 'Hey, me and Chris Rock are getting coffee,' 'cause I just didn't want that narrative. I just was like I'm going to value my friendship and just leave it at that."

Amber also insisted the paparazzi photos of her and Chris, which were taken in December last year, were in no way romantic.

"We were not holding hands, and we were obviously very separate. It just becomes unfair sometimes," she told the outlet.

Elsewhere in the interview, Amber confirmed that she is happily single.

"I'm definitely not looking for nothing," she said. "I'm definitely very happy raising my children and having my own schedule."

The model has two children, Sebastian, who she shares with and Wiz Khalifa, and Slash, who she shares with ex Alexander AE Edwards.
