Paloma Faith is considering a career change.

The British singer-songwriter has revealed that she is considering calling time on her music career.

Speaking on an episode of the Great Company podcast with Jamie Laing, Paloma said she might release "one more record" before embarking on a new career path.

"My mum's always telling me I need to train to be a teacher," the 42-year-old told the podcast host. "She's like, 'You've had kids, you've done the pop star thing. Go and do PGCE (teacher training) because then you can have the same holidays as your kids."

The Only Love Can Hurt Like This hitmaker continued, "I'm considering it. I just might put one more record out."

Paloma has two daughters with her ex-partner Leyman Lahcine.

Elsewhere in the episode, the Stone Cold Sober singer opened up about why her nearly decade-long relationship with Leyman, a French artist, broke down.

"Resentment, because there was disparity, I think, between what I put into it and him," she explained. "But I say on the album, there is a spoken bit, where I say I know it is my fault."

The hitmaker appeared to be referring to her album The Glorification of Sadness, which was released in February.

Paloma confirmed her split from Leyman in August last year. However, the breakup was first reported in November 2022.
