Over the weekend, the one and only Queen of Hip-Hop, Nicki Minaj, made history on her highest selling and largest tour to date with the spectacular kickoff in Oakland, CA and Denver, CO of her highly anticipated Nicki Minaj Presents: Pink Friday 2 World Tour. Over 30 shows across both her North America and Europe + UK legs are sold out.

Fans around the world have eagerly awaited her return, and she did not disappoint as she delivered two mesmerizing performances at Oakland Arena & Ball Arena to over 25,000 fans. Minaj’s sold-out show at the Oakland Arena became the venue’s second highest grossing single-night by a hip hop artist, male or female, since opening in 1966.

Minaj performed hits from her critically acclaimed new album Pink Friday 2 including trailblazing pop culture favorites “FTCU”, “Everybody”, and the platinum-certified lead single "Super Freaky Girl" which hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. All have achieved widespread recognition and incredible virality across social media platforms.

Setlist highlights also included 13 live debuts from songs across her discography, fan-favorite classics like “Anaconda”, “Super Bass”, “Starships”, “Chun-Li” and several hits performed for the first time in years including “Right Thru Me” & “Save Me”, last performed 5 years ago, and “Here I Am”, last performed 14 years ago. The Barbz were left in awe with her unmatched talent and energy.

Special guest Monica also took the stage to perform hits like “Angel of Mine”, “Don’t Take It Personal (Just One of Dem Days)” and “Before You Walk Out of My Life.”
