Kanye West has blasted his ex-wife Kim Kardashian for sending their children to a "fake school for celebrities".

The Stronger rapper publicly asked his ex-wife on Instagram on Wednesday night to remove their four kids - North, 10, Saint, eight, Chicago, six, and Psalm, four - from Sierra Canyon School in Los Angeles.

"Kim take my kids out of Sierra Canyon now," he wrote. "It's a fake school for celebrities that are used by 'the system'."

In the caption, he expanded upon what he meant by "the system", suggesting that it distances children from their fathers.

"At this point everybody knows what 'the system' is code word for (eye emoji)," he wrote. "I was removed from my dad by the system and the system removed me from my children When the system drafts athletes they avoid working with those who have their father in their life because they are harder to manipulate My two oldest know they daddy is (sic)."

Kim filed for divorce from Kanye in February 2021 and they were declared legally single the following year.

It's not the first time the Touch the Sky musician has publicly aired his frustrations about his children's education. Before it closed in late 2022, Kanye had pushed for their kids to attend his school, Donda Academy, instead of Sierra Canyon.

"All they do is take all the celebs' kids and throw them into this same school," he told broadcaster Tucker Carlson in September 2022. "Right now we've come to a compromise - but I'm not finished because I don't compromise - but we've come to a compromise that my kids come to my school after school and they learn choir."
