Taylor Swift and other A-listers said no to Jennifer Lopez's latest project, This Is Me... Now.

A behind-the-scenes documentary has revealed some of the big-name celebrities who turned down roles in the epic musical film, which tells the story of Jennifer's on-again, off-again romance with her now-husband, Ben Affleck.

Taylor, 34, as well as Ariana Grande, Lizzo, Jason Momoa, Jennifer Coolidge and Snoop Dogg were all among the celebrities who either declined to take part or were unavailable.

Khloe Kardashian was also invited to make a cameo appearance, but did not.

The documentary further explains that High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens was suggested for a lead role, playing Jennifer's sister, but this did not come to fruition either.

Despite the high number of stars who did not participate in the project, it still includes a star-studded cast.

Jane Fonda, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Post Malone, Kim Petras, Keke Palmer and Jenifer Lewis are just some of the talent on display in the production.

And Jennifer, 54, says she's thrilled with the roster of celebrities who were eventually involved.

"They were giving me a list of all these amazing people, and I was like, 'Yes, I like all of those people, but that's not what I want,'" she told Entertainment Weekly.

"I want all different kinds of people."
