Hoda Kotb has spoken out after Kelly Rowland reportedly walked off the Today show set.

Last week, the Destiny's Child star was set to appear as a guest host on the Today show, but it was later reported that she had pulled out of the hosting gig after not being given a suitable dressing room.

During Tuesday's episode of Today With Hoda and Jenna, co-host Hoda explained that she is keen to have Kelly back on the show despite the alleged drama.

"I just want to say this - I have great love and admiration for Kelly Rowland," Hoda, 59, said. " I adore her, and I want her to come back on our show, and I want her to host again."

Hoda's co-host Jenna Bush Hager added that the Survivor singer is "welcome anytime," adding, "She's the best".

"Of course she is, of course she is!" Hoda exclaimed. "She can share my dressing room, we'll be in it together."

The journalist added, "But anyway, I just want to say we love her, we've loved her on this show for many, many years."

It was reported that Kelly had pulled out of hosting the show on Thursday because the dressing rooms weren't "weren't up to par".

"Kelly and her team were not happy," a source close to the incident told Page Six. "They did not like the dressing room, so they decided to pull her off the show, leaving Hoda without a guest host for the 10 a.m. hour."

Rita Ora, who was scheduled to appear on the show later in the day, filled in for Kelly.
