Tameka Foster has revealed that co-parenting with Usher is "great".

In a new interview with People, the fashion designer opened up about her co-parenting relationship with the singer-songwriter.

"It's great. Yeah, everything is great," Tameka said. "We're friends and the kids are at an age now where they can kind of say where they want to be as far as, 'Hey I want to be at Dad's. I want to go to Mom's.'"

Tameka and Usher, who were married from 2007 to 2009, have two sons together, Usher Raymond, 16, and Naviyd, 15.

"We have a very open door policy with the boys," Tameka, 53, continued. "We let 'em go where they want to go. Everything is going pretty smoothly."

Late last year, Usher, 45, revealed that one of his sons had been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes a few years ago. The eight-time Grammy winner explained that the diagnosis changed his relationship with his ex-wife.

"From the moment that Type 1 diabetes was a conversation, it was a re-acclimation to life. The life that we knew changed," the OMG hitmaker told People. "It comes with a great deal of consideration and commitment in itself because we're all managing to make certain that my child makes the right decisions to have a happy, healthy life."

Tameka's comments come just days after it was revealed that Usher had tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Jennifer Goicoechea in Las Vegas following his performance at Super Bowl LVIII.

Usher and Jennifer share two kids, Sovereign, three, and Sire, two.
