Celine Dion rocks the Grammys as final presenter of the night.

The My Heart Will Go On singer had the crowd on its feet as she took to the stage to present the final – and arguably the most significant – award of the evening: Album Of The Year.

“Thank you all," Celine told the audience, to rapturous applause.

"I love you right back. When I say that I'm happy to be here, I really mean it. From my heart.

"Those who have been blessed enough to be here at the Grammy Awards must never take for granted the tremendous love and joy that music brings to our lives and to people all around the world.”

Her words had special meaning, given Celine has laid low, remaining out of the public eye since December 2022, when she revealed she had been diagnosed with Stiff-Person Syndrome.

A progressive neurological disorder that affects the brain and the spinal cord, the disease has affected Celine’s ability to walk and sing, bringing her live performances and scheduled tours to a halt.

Celine presented Taylor Swift with the top honour for her album Midnights. It marked Taylor's fourth win in the Best Album category.

Speculation about the night’s final presenter had been rampant in the lead-up to the show after Grammys Executive Producer Ben Winston dropped a huge hint audiences were in for a treat. While he wouldn’t name the final presenter, he gave some strategic clues.

“They are an absolute global icon,” he told CNN.

“I think jaws will drop to the floor. People will be on their feet.

“The only condition they gave is that it was a surprise.”
