Mariah Carey takes her own lighting to Grammys bash

Mariah Carey took her own lighting to the pre-Grammys gala event.

The Butterfly singer made sure she looked glam in every photo that was taken of her during Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy gala on Saturday night.

Mariah was at the party with her longtime makeup artist, Kristofer Buckle, who brought out his own lighting every time anyone wanted to take a photo of her.

It seems the lighting worked a treat; fans were heard telling her she looked amazing all night, according to reports by Page Six.

Mariah, 54, poked fun at the Grammys last week when she received the Recording Academy’s Global Impact Award at the 2024 Black Music Collective.

"Is this a real Grammy? I haven’t seen one in soooooo long,” she joked in her acceptance speech. “It’s weird. I don’t know. We’ll figure out what this is later.”

The diva has been nominated for 34 Grammys throughout her career, and won five, including Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance in 1991.
