The stirring folk song completes another week at the top of the Official Singles Chart, claiming the longest consecutive run at Number 1 since Doja Cat’s Paint The Town Red spent five weeks at the top last year. It also retains its title as the most-streamed song in the UK for another week, with 8.8 million listens.

YG Marley comes from a very storied history of music greats; being the son of Lauryn Hill and the grandson of the late, great Bob Marley. He enters the Official Singles Chart Top 40 for the first time today with debut single Praise Jah In The Moonlight (20). It’s this week’s biggest climber, vaulting 31 places.

As they release debut album Prelude to Ecstasy, BRITs Rising Star-winning quintet The Last Dinner Party secure their first-ever Top 40 single with Nothing Matters, surging nineteen places week-on-week to Number 22.

Ella Henderson and Rudimental’s Alibi climbs two to a new high (24), while Kygo & Ava Max jump twelve with Whatever (27) and Songer’s Toxic clambers up three (29).

Megan Thee Stallion secures this week’s highest new entry with her headline-grabbing rap track Hiss (30), which becomes the 6th Top 40 hit for the Houston native. Skepta is not far behind, with Gas Me Up (Diligent) becoming his 22nd Top 40 single (31).

Justin Timberlake kickstarts his comeback on Selfish, entering at Number 37. It’s the pop icon’s 27th solo Top 40 entry, and his first solo UK chart hit since Filthy in 2018.

Finally, TikTok sensation Michael Marcagi’s Scared To Start ends the week as the first UK Top 40 entry for the Cincinnati native, leaping nine to Number 38.
