Taylor Swift exchanged a kiss with Travis Kelce on the football field after his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, secured a spot at the Super Bowl on Sunday.

The Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens during the AFC championship and are now on their way to the Super Bowl for the fourth time in five years.

At the end of the game, the pop superstar made her way from her private suite to the field at the M&T Bank Stadium in Maryland to celebrate with Travis, his team, his parents Donna and Ed, and his brother Jason.

The singer hugged and kissed the American football player repeatedly, seemingly unconcerned about the photographers and video cameras circling them. She proudly stood by him as he was congratulated by members of the crowd on the pitch.

Social media users compared the moment to Chad Michael Murray's Lucas Scott and Hilarie Burton's Peyton Sawyer celebrating after a basketball win in One Tree Hill and Zac Efron's Troy Bolton and Vanessa Hudgens's Gabriella Montez doing the same in High School Musical.

Taylor, 34, appeared amused as Travis quoted the Beastie Boys during his victory speech.

"You gotta fight for your right to party!" he shouted. "Believe it, baby, we going to Las Vegas, Nevada! Gonna get us another one!"

The Kansas City Chiefs, who won the Super Bowl in 2020 and 2023, will play against the San Francisco 49ers at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on 11 February.

Taylor's fans have been wondering if she will be able to make it to the Super Bowl to support Travis as she will be performing in Tokyo, Japan on 10 February as part of her Eras Tour.
