Dita Von Teese has revealed working with Taylor Swift was the "best experience."
The Burlesque queen has revealed how professional and "kind" Taylor Swift was when they worked together on Taylor’s Bejeweled video.
“The best experience was Taylor,” Dita told the Allison Interviews podcast with Allison Kugel. “She’s really, like, a kind girl. She knew everything about what I do.”
The Bejeweled video, released in 2022, shows both Taylor and Dita sitting in big Martini glasses. However, Dita didn’t expect to actually star in the film clip.
“She wanted to not just have me be behind the scenes teaching her to be, you know, in my glass,” said Von Teese. “She wanted to showcase what I do.”
Both stars wear tasselled outfits, and strip off a stocking before taking a soak in a liquid squeezed from giant olives.
Dita also revealed that not every celebrity she works with has the same work ethic and respect for her Burlesque skills.
She recalls being asked to teach Bethenny Frankel the same routine for her 2012-2014 talk show, Bethenny.
“Guess what? She didn’t show up for rehearsal!” she revealed. “I was like, ‘Why am I at rehearsal? I don’t need to rehearse. I can do this blindfolded with one hand tied behind my back.’ Then we did it live on camera, and I was like, ‘You’re on your own.’”
