Lana Del Rey didn't believe Glastonbury chiefs would actually cut her set short if she flouted a curfew time.
The Video Games singer headlined The Other Stage at this year's Worthy Farm event - but fans were left disappointed when she was cut off before performing her final few songs.
Lana is still frustrated by the incident, which she blamed on having to fix her hair before going on stage late.
"I've heard of curfews before," she told The Sunday Times. "But I didn't know they actually turned the lights off! I didn't feel great about it, but I was a little confused because I don't think I was ever in a position where somebody said, 'If you do not finish by this time, everything will go out.' I was only 15 minutes late."
During the interview, the popstar explained that dressing up for gigs is important to her - but it's caused her other problems besides missed curfews.
"I get dressed up for my shows while some folks don't," Lana added. "For some reason that was a problem. I had books thrown at me in San Francisco by liberal female groups. I've been punched in the face in Brooklyn. Ten years ago, mentally I badly needed some beauty to come out of the chaos."
