SZA was the big winner at the 2023 Soul Train Awards on Sunday.
The Kill Bill singer took home the most accolades with four - Album of the Year for SOS, Song of the Year and the Ashford and Simpson Songwriter's Award for Snooze and Best R&B/Soul Female Artist.
Reacting to the news on her Instagram Stories, SZA wrote, "THANK YOU SO SO VERY MUCH FOR THIS HONORR (sic)!!!
Usher followed closely behind with three wins for Best R&B/Soul Male Artist, Certified Soul Award, and Best Collaboration with Summer Walker and 21 Savage for Good Good, while Victoria Monét won two for Best Dance Performance and Video of the Year for On My Mama.
Elsewhere, T-Pain was honoured with the Legend Award and Janelle Monáe was presented with the honorary Spirit of Soul Award.
In their acceptance speech, Janelle gave a shout-out to the music stars who have inspired them in their life and career.
"I'm thankful for the spirit of so many who have come before me. The spirit of Prince, whose spirit taught me, 'I'm not a woman. I'm not a man. I am something that you'll never understand,'" they said. "I'm thankful for the spirit of Nina Simone, who reminds me that my job as an artist is to reflect the times.
"I'm thankful for the spirit of Grace Jones, who encourages me to remain a free-a*s MF. I'm thankful to the spirit of Earth, Wind & Fire for reminding me if there ain't no beauty, make some beauty. I'm thankful for the spirit of Stevie Wonder, who reminds me that love is still in need of love today."
The 2023 Soul Train Awards, hosted by Keke Palmer, were broadcast on BET on Sunday.
