Wolfgang Van Halen tied the knot with his fiancée Andraia Allsop over the weekend.

The musician, the son of Eddie Van Halen and Valerie Bertinelli, exchanged vows with Andraia in front of 90 guests in their Los Angeles home on 15 October, the eighth anniversary of their first date.

In an interview with People, Andraia revealed that the couple decided to hold the ceremony in their living room so they could "have privacy" and a sweet "moment together with everyone".

Wolfgang wore a custom three-piece suit as his mother walked him down the aisle to a song that his father wrote for him.

"The song that my father had written for me, it's an instrumental piece called 316. It'll be a nice way to include my dad," he said of the late Van Halen rocker.

The couple left an empty chair at the ceremony to honour Eddie, while Valerie lent Andraia a necklace the rocker gave to her to wear on the big day.

Reflecting on the ceremony, the actress said of her ex-husband, "Ed would've been absolutely beaming and so, so proud of the man Wolfie has become and is becoming and so happy that he has found Andraia, someone who really understands Wolfie, who he is and who he wants to be and supports him wholeheartedly."

Eddie passed away in October 2020 aged 65.
