Shakira has declared that it will be "hard" for artificial intelligence to replicate her voice.

During an interview with Billboard, the Colombian singer shared her opinion on the use of AI in the music industry.

"I was shown how I sound with AI. But I don't think they got it right yet. I don't hear myself there," the 46-year-old told the publication.

"The letter E, for example, sounds like my voice, but not the other four vowels," she continued, "I think it's going to be hard for AI to imitate me. And I have bigger fish to fry right now."

The Whenever, Wherever hitmaker then joked that she is more concerned about her son's extracurricular activities.

"My biggest concern is figuring out how Milán can practice American football, soccer and baseball in the same week," she quipped.

The performer shares two children, Milán, 10, and Sasha, eight, with her ex-partner, former professional soccer player Gerard Piqué.

Elsewhere in the interview, Shakira stated that her life has changed "dramatically" since she and Gerard split in June 2022 after 11 years together.

"Aside from the fact that it's been a drama, the time I have with my children, (I) really spend it with them," she shared. "For example, this summer, the time they spent with me, I devoted entirely to them. I didn't work, and they didn't go to camp. They went to Camp Shakira."

The singer added, "If I can only have them half the time, I'm going to make the most out of my half."
