Following a massively successful first series, Ibiza Rocks with Sony Ericsson is back on Channel 4. Narrated by Zane Lowe, the 8-part series is based on fantasy meets reality, as the bands take viewers on a madcap journey into the heart of Ibiza Rocks.
Check out the hottest bands on the beach, as they take to the open air stage at Bar M’s stunning and intimate live music venue. Show 4 in the weekly series is an all female special and takes a look back at the summer of the girls, with stunning performances from CSS, The Go! Team and New Young Pony Club. Real life Ibiza Rocks characters get spooked along the way as this week’s show is ‘most haunted’ and CSS reflect upon their spiritual experiences.
The series continues to take a unique approach to music shows by mixing high-octane performances with semi-scripted reality drama based around the gigs, starring the bands, some well-placed actors and the real people who work on the event, including Andy and Dawn McKay, founders of Manumission and Ibiza Rocks. The result is a hilarious narrative threading through each episode.
