Britney Spears is hoping to win her sons back by applying for a job as a barmaid, if reports are to be believed.

Britnet recently lost custody of her sons Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, one, to ex-husband Kevin Federline last week.

But Spears hopes to prove she is capable of being a good mother by applying for a job out of the public eye at the five-star Viceroy Hotel in California.

However, Spears' application was refused.

A source tells newspaper the Daily Mirror, "Even entertaining the idea of working in a bar is crazy. A judge would be forgiven for thinking she'd totally lost the plot."
