The Police cancel two dates

The Police have cancelled two gigs on their world tour because lead singer Sting has vocal issues relating to an illness.

A concert in Antwerp, Belgium on Tuesday was cancelled along with one scheduled for Wednesday in Mannheim, Germany, tour organisers have said.

Sting's official website said he was suffering from a throat infection, adding that doctors "have advised him to rest."
