Michael Jackson to appear on X Factor

Pop superstar Michael Jackson is making a comeback - on British reality TV show The X Factor.

The Thriller singer will appear as a mentor alongside judges Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne, Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh in an upcoming episode of the talent contest, which television bosses say will air in the U.K. sometime before Christmas (07).

Reclusive Jackson, who hasn't released any new music in four years, will give voice coaching to pop wannabes.
