REM have announced details of a first ever live album, as they continue work on their upcoming new studio record.

The two-CD, one DVD collection is called "REM Live" and was recorded at The Point in Dublin on February 27, 2005.

Although the music weighs heavily on the group's most recent studio album, "Around The Sun", it also features a host of hits and some new material.

"What's The Frequency Kenneth", "Drive", "Everybody Hurts", "The One I Love" and "Man On The Moon" all feature across the performance.
