The MySpace Summer Daze Bus will be appearing at two exciting and inaugural festivals this weekend, hosting parties for all the kids at Underage Festival and all the adults at London’s new psychedelic summer fete, Field Day.
Both festivals will be taking place at London’s Victoria Park, and punters can expect intimate performances on the bus from the likes of Boy Kill Boy, Johnny Flynn, Patrick Wolf and many more.*
The timings of all the gigs are being kept strictly hush-hush until the first day of the festival, when they will be on display down at the customised 1962 Routemaster bus, which will be parked up on the grounds. Fans should head over as soon as they can to demand their place on the list as space is tight; the first lucky fans to get their name on the list will get a special wristband which will gain them entry to their chosen gig.
Festival-goers are welcome to drop by for the duration of each festival, especially natural performers as the bus will be hosting movie auditions for an acting part in the world’s first user-generated feature film at www.myspace.com/mymoviemashup. It will also be providing a chill-out area on its giant double bed, and giving festival-goers with a creative bent artistic licence to paint and graffiti, turning the bus into a user-generated art project!
There will also be a few surprises on the way… past events have included a glowstick war, karaoke contest and pass the parcel!
Fans who want to track its progress online should visit www.myspace.com/liveintheuk where it will be documented with a special blog about the happenings accompanied by plenty of pictures and video clips.
