Radiohead are nearing completion on their new album, they have confirmed.

Work on the follow-up to 2003's "Hail To The Thief" has been continuing intermittently over the past 12 months.

It now seems the band are confident recordings are almost complete, judging by a post from Ed O'Brien on their Dead Air Space website this week.

It reads: "A word from the studio. Yes I know its been a while ..... but we've been working on this album for a while ...... BUT WE ARE NEARLY THERE ....."

There are no official release details for the album, although it is scheduled to come out this autumn.
