Unsigned bands to support Fall Out Boy

Fall Out Boy are inviting new bands to compete for a support slot on their US tour.

The Chicago based band will offer unsigned bands the opportunity to open for them on selected dates as part of their Honda Civic Tour.

And you can join the vote by logging onto www.mylocalbands.com and nominating your favourite.

As Music News reported last week the tour has been postponed due to "personal issues beyond the band’s control" so will now kick off in Denver Colorado on May 11th.

Also joining them on the road will be +44, The Academy Is..., Paul Wall and Cobra Starship who recently supported the band on their short UK jaunt.

Fall Out Boy’s current single 'Thnks Fr The Mmrs' charted at number 12 on Sunday.
