His spokeswoman said: "Robbie Williams has completed his stay in Arizona and is continuing with an after-care programme in Los Angeles."

She declined to comment on claimsWilliams, who has a home in LA, quit the month-long treatment a week early.

According to The Sun, he was treated in the Cottonwood clinic in Tucson - one of the toughest rehab centres in the US.

Williams had previously spoken about his continuing battle with depression and his reliance on anti-depressants.

His latest album, Rudebox, has had mixed reviews in Britain.
