Kim Kardashian has joined her husband, Kanye West, in Wyoming for the first time since he revealed they considered aborting their daughter North at a political rally.
The rapper also ripped into his wife in a series of tweets last week, sent during an alleged bipolar episode, she claimed in a statement, but two days after Kanye apologised to her via social media, the reality TV star was back by her husband's side.
Kim flew to Cody, Wyoming, where the couple owns a ranch complex, on Monday and was spotted with West.
During his Twitter rant last week, Kanye also claimed he had been trying to divorce Kardashian for two years and accused her of attempting to put him in a hospital, and during their time together on Monday, the couple looked anything but happy to see each other.
In a statement she released on Wednesday, she wrote: "As many of you know, Kanye has bi-polar disorder. Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand.
"I've never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye's right to privacy when it comes to his health. But today, I feel like I should comment on it because of the stigma and misconceptions about mental health.
"People who are unaware or far removed from this experience can be judgmental and not understand that the individual themselves have to engage in the process of getting help no matter how hard family and friends try (sic)."
Kim went on to call her husband "brilliant but complicated" adding: "Those who are close with Kanye know his heart and understand his words do not align with his intentions."
Meanwhile, Kanye still appears intent to run for President of the U.S. in November - his campaign boss submitted signatures before the 5pm deadline on Monday which, if legitimate, will allow the rap star to be considered for an appearance on the 3 November election ballot in Missouri. West needs 10,000 signatures from registered voters in the state.
He just made it onto the ballot in his home state of Illinois last week, but missed the deadline in South Carolina days before.
