Alice Cooper becomes a doctor

Alice Cooper will receive an honorary doctorate from Christian Liberal Arts College at Grand Canyon University this weekend.

Cooper has been a supporter of the school for many years, donating money to keep it afloat. He has also made himself as a mentor for the students and often lectures the arts students about the industry and offers advice from his career.

Although known as the shock rocker who influenced the likes and Marilyn Manson, Cooper privately is a religious, private man.

The next time Alice Cooper is on stage he will be Dr Alice Cooper. His next show is scheduled for June 4 at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin. It will be followed by a European tour.

Cooper will start his American tour on July 9 in Beloit, Wisconsin on July 9.
