Ariana Grande is temporarily taking care of late ex-boyfriend Mac Miller's dog.

Mac, real name Malcolm McCormick, was found dead on 7 September (18) after suffering a suspected overdose at his San Fernando Valley home.

Ariana, who split from the Goosebumpz rapper in May after two years of dating, has posted a number of touching tributes to the late star online, and she now appears to have taken in his beloved pet Myron.

Sharing a video of the pitbull-mix pup to Instagram on Monday (24Sep18), the Sweetener singer can be seen showering Myron in kisses as he cuddles up to her on the sofa.

"all the kisses. happy fall," the 25-year-old captioned the footage, disabling the comments section on the post.

The No Tears Left to Cry singer added further videos and pictures of her dog-sitting duties to her Instagram Stories, in which Myron played with her own dog Toulouse. She was also snapped walking the dogs from her home in New York City.

Mac first adopted Myron from a rescue centre in Los Angeles while he was still dating Ariana, and regularly posted about his love for his pet on social media.

Ariana, who is now engaged to Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson, is yet to confirm whether she has adopted the hound for good, though it wouldn't come as a surprise to fans considering the dog-fanatic already has nine rescue pups to her name.

It's the songstress' latest show of love for Mac after uploading a touching black-and-white image of her former beau to Instagram days after his death. She later shared a short video of Mac to the photo-sharing platform, adding that she will always "adore" him.
