Noah Cyrus and Lil Xan have released their loved-up music video to single Live or Die despite their messy break-up.

Miley Cyrus' young sister began dating the rapper, real name Diego Leanos, in June (18), and they released their single in August, just weeks before they split up, with Lil Xan accusing her of cheating on him and declaring that the music video for Live or Die will no longer be released.

However, the footage was released on Monday (17Sep18), showing the former couple lounging on a sofa by a fireplace, embracing and touching and singing to each other as a spotlight follows their movements.

In the song, she sings, "When you lay by my side, I see the whole world through your eyes / Ride or die, you and I," before Lil Xan raps, "They threw me in and now I'm drowning in the deep end / If I'm religious, you're the one that I believe in / You've been here with me to help me fight all my demons."

Neither of them have commented specifically on its release, but the 18-year-old revealed to her fans that she was upset on her Instagram Story.

"Damn. Hurts my heart so bad." she wrote Monday night. Besides a clip of her singing in her car, she added, "Too sad/tired to get out me car (sic)."

She also shared footage of her listening and singing along to Sinead O'Connor Nothing Compares 2U, and wrote in the caption, "Sinead O'Connor getting me in my feels."

The 22-year-old rapper hinted that they had split on 3 September, writing on social media, "I feel like I'm probably being cheated on." Noah insisted she didn't do anything she was being accused of and was "heartbroken and confused".

Days later he said in a video that their short-lived romance was fake and had been set up by executives at Columbia Records, but Noah denied it, adding, "To say that is a joke. It started when I got a DM from Diego and he asked me to hang out."
