Chris Brown's former flame, Nia Guzman, fears the safety of their daughter is at risk due to overzealous fans.

The 35 year old has been pushing for an increase in child support payments from the Forever hitmaker, and in her latest filed documents, she claims she needs more cash to protect four-year-old Royalty.

Guzman alleges that her current easily-accessible two-bedroom apartment is not ideal, especially as she needs to protect her daughter from potentially obsessive fans, according to the legal documents obtained by The Blast.

She claims her daughter is "trapped in my apartment and she can’t go outside" due to "a whole bunch of weirdos... taking pictures from balconies".

Guzman also pointed out that Brown has been the victim of "multiple break-ins at his homes", and frequently has "fans sit out in front of his home". She claims to have experienced situations involving fans who are trying to use Royalty to get closer to the With You hitmaker.

Brown currently pays Guzman $2,500 (£1,900) per month to cover their daughter's expenses, and $4,000 (£3,060) for a nanny. The model believes she’s owed a huge increase in child support, and has also demanded back-payments of $250,000 (£191,000).

Guzman also confirms reports she accepted a $20,000 (£15,300) gift from former U.S. boxing champion Floyd Mayweather, so she could start a small business and try to make ends meet.

Brown is refusing to up the payments, as he believes that giving Guzman more money will be harmful to their daughter.

A decision by the judge overseeing the case is expected later this month (Sep18).
