After sharing the bill with fellow Seventies rock vets Aerosmith last year, Kiss will continue their endless farewell tour this summer with second generation glam rockers Poison. The Rock the Nation Tour lands in Selma, Texas, on June 10th after stints in Australia and Japan.

Thirty-eight U.S. dates have been lined up, with the trek scheduled to wrap on August 4th in Atlanta. Rock the Nation is a modification Poison's annual headlining tour. Usually they headline a multi-metal band summer tour, but the chance to open for Kiss proved tough to turn down.

As for Kiss, the act of retiring has been a lucrative one. The group announced a farewell tour four years ago but has refused to leave the road since, pulling in more than $50 million on its tour with Aerosmith last year. This year also marks the thirtieth anniversary of the band's first album, though Kiss have weathered some turnover during the past few years with guitarist Ace Frehley and drummer Peter Criss no longer in tow.
