Eminem made a surprise public appearance at an award ceremony in Los Angeles last night, appearing alongside Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliot.
The rap superstar performed on-stage with Busta and Missy at the 2006 BET Awards, at the Shrine Auditorium in California.
His showing follows a troubled few months, in which Eminem's second marriage to Kim Mathers disintegrated and his best friend, Proof from D-12, was murdered.
Amongst the other performers at the star-studded ceremony were Beyonce, who played her forthcoming single "Deja Vu" with boyfriend Jay Z, Jamie Foxx and Prince, who closed the show.
Amongst the big winners were Mary J Blige, Chris Brown, Kanye West, who all took home two awards.
