Clean Bandit’s 'Rockabye' is New Year’s Eve biggest track

As clocks struck midnight, party-goers in the UK chose to ring in the New Year listening to Rockabye by Clean Bandit, feat. Sean Paul & Anne-Marie on Spotify.

The song - which has over 155m streams on Spotify - proved to be the most popular song played as midnight struck in the UK on 31 December 2016.

The Weeknd’s ‘Starboy’ came second in the UK, but was the most-streamed track in the world at midnight local time globally.
