Nick Jonas hit a snag when trying to vote in the U.S. election on Tuesday (08Nov16), because he wasn't registered at his polling station.
The pop star flew in from Hawaii early on Tuesday morning and headed to a polling station in Sherman Oaks, California bright and early to cast his vote.
However, he was hit with a delay when workers at the booth couldn't find him on the roll sheet as he had recently moved to the area and wasn't registered to vote at that site, according to TMZ.com.
Nick was reportedly taken to a back room where he informed them about his change of address and showed proof of his new residence. And after it was sorted out, the Jealous singer was allowed to cast his ballot.
Nick shared pictures from his flight from Hawaii to Los Angeles on Snapchat and after his voting fiasco was sorted, he took to social media to share a snap of his leather jacket and his "I Voted" sticker, writing in the caption, "Right off the plane from Hawaii to go vote. #electionday"
He didn't declare who he voted for, but it was reported earlier this year (16) that he had turned down a $2 million (£1.6 million) offer to perform at a Republican party in Cleveland, Ohio. The party has since gone on to win the election, with Donald Trump being elected 45th U.S. President.
The 24-year-old was in Hawaii filming the reboot of Jumanji with Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black and Kevin Hart. He has shared a number of snaps from the set on social media in recent weeks as well as his off-set antics, such as climbing down a rocky cliff face and workout sessions.
His brothers Joe and Frankie have also flown out to visit him during the shoot. Last month (Oct16) he wrote on Instagram, "So nice having my bro @joejonas here to hang for the weekend on my off time from shooting. #familyfirst #hawaii #jumanji"
