Bryan Cranston sent his fans wild after reading out the lyrics to Little Mix’s new song Shout Out to My Ex in his best Breaking Bad voice.

The American actor joined BBC Radio 1 presenters Scott Mills and Chris Stark on Thursday morning (27Oct16) in London, England, and alongside chatting about his acting work, Bryan also found time to put his own spin on Little Mix’s latest track.

Reading out lyrics like “This is a shout out to my ex/ Heard he in love with some other chick/ Yeah yeah, that hurt me, I'll admit,” Bryan channelled his Breaking Bad alter ego, giving the song a chilling undertone.

“Forget that boy, I'm over it/ I hope she gettin' better sex/ Hope she ain't fakin' it like I did, babe,” he continued, as Chris giggles next to him.

Bryan played Walter White on the multi award-winning show, a cancer stricken chemistry high school teacher who morphs into ruthless criminal and crystal meth maker Heisenberg as the seasons go on. The part won the 60-year-old star a Golden Globe and six Emmy Awards.

After his Little Mix performance, fans flocked to Twitter to commend the actor, with @TooManyEmmas writing "Bryan Cranston has made me scared of Shout Out To My Ex, while @dicaprheeo said: “bryan cranston needs an album of him saying lyrics in his 'heisenberg voice' id (sic) buy 10 copies”.

Little Mix also saw the funny side, retweeting Radio 1’s message “@BryanCranston just read the lyrics to @LittleMix's #ShoutOutToMyEx Heisenberg-style, and we need a lie down @Chris_Stark @Scott_Mills.”

Shout Out to my Ex soared straight to the top of the U.K. charts when it was released earlier this month (Oct16), marking the girlband’s fourth number one single. The girls also recently confirmed the song was about Perrie Edwards' ex-fiance Zayn Malik, who dumped her by text message after four years together in 2015.
