Geri Horner is reportedly worried about the pressure a Spice Girls reunion will put on her as a new mum.

The 44-yearold star, known as Geri Halliwell before her nuptials to Formula One boss Christian Horner, announced her pregnancy earlier this month (Oct16) and unveiled her baby bump at the 2016 Attitude Awards in London.

While the singer, who already has 10-year-old daughter Bluebell from a previous relationship, is over the moon about expanding her family, the news has left plans for a Spice Girls reunion in jeopardy.

The band announced they would play a show in London’s Hyde Park next summer (17) but Geri is apparently wary of how it will affect her new family.

“Geri’s reportedly due in the spring, and told the girls she’s debating whether to pull out of their July show as she fears rehearsals and the promotional work could put pressure on her and the baby,” an insider told Britain’s Closer magazine. “The Hyde Park gig was going to make them a lot of money, and Mel B is unhappy their plans are now up in the air.”

Their comeback was hit with problems when it was announced Victoria Beckham and Mel C weren’t interested in getting involved, leaving just Mel B, Geri and Emma Bunton to form their own mini group, GEM.

To make things tougher, Victoria recently admitted she’d be hurt if the new trio belted out some of the original line-up’s greatest hits.

"I do think they should sing their own material though, because what we did in the Spice Girls was so special. If they sang Spice Girls songs I think I might be a bit sad,” she sighed to the Sunday Times Style magazine.

Luckily Geri isn’t letting anything bring her own, and sources add to Closer she’s “thrilled” about being pregnant again and is making sure she has plenty of rest.
