Rockaway Beach festival has announced its next wave of artists for the 2027 event, taking place from 7 to 9 January 2027 at Butlin’s Bognor Regis. Sleeper, Joshua Idehen, and Lucia & The Best Boys lead the new additions, joining previously announced acts including The Charlatans, Getdown Services, SPRINTS, and The Twilight Sad.
With 85% of tickets already sold, the 12th edition of the independent winter festival continues its tradition of pairing established icons with emerging talent. Britpop band Sleeper bring a catalogue featuring Top 10 albums Smart, The It Girl, and Pleased To Meet You, alongside hit singles like Inbetweener and Sale of the Century.
Glasgow alternative band Lucia & The Best Boys join the bill following the release of their second album, Picking Petals. Meanwhile, producer and performer Joshua Idehen—known for his collaborations with Sons of Kemet and Little Simz—returns to the event with his fusion of spoken word, electronic music, and jazz.
The latest line-up announcement also features post-punk pioneers Essential Logic, street-soul artist Master Peace, Manchester lyricist Murkage Dave, indie group Swim Deep, and rising punk band Gen & The Degenerates. Emerging acts City Parking, Slag, The Wran, and Melanie Baker round out the new additions.
The headline roster features indie legends The Charlatans, alongside a co-headline opening night with SPRINTS and Getdown Services, plus a headline performance from Scottish rock band The Twilight Sad. Performances will take place across multiple stages, including the Studio 36 venue, while maintaining an intimate overall capacity of 3,600 attendees.
Beyond the live music, the three-day indoor weekender offers artist Q&As, record signings, pub quizzes, silent discos, and access to Butlin’s resort facilities, including the indoor swimming complex, spa, and arcades.
Three-day festival passes, which include on-site accommodation ranging from hotel rooms to seaside chalets, are available starting from £110 per person via the official festival website.
