The Somerset House Summer Series with American Express has officially announced the support acts joining its eclectic 2026 festival lineup. Taking place from July 16 to July 26, 2026, the prestigious concert series will bring a diverse selection of international trailblazers, genre innovators, and emerging talents to London's historic open-air courtyard for a series of landmark, one-night-only musical experiences.
The newly revealed supporting artists include DEELA, Truthpaste, Cinnamon Gum, Sunta Templeton, the north, Peter Gregson, elsas, Jordss, Bobby Kang, and Olive Jones. These individual acts will join a star-studded list of headliners that features Naïka, Palace, Thee Sacred Souls, Lightning Seeds, The Cribs, Agnes Obel, Black Country, New Road, Venna, Raf-Saperra, The Flaming Lips, and Benjamin Clementine. Additionally, organizers revealed that psychedelic rock icons The Flaming Lips will perform an extended two-part set for their Saturday headline slot to chronicle their 40-year career.
The ten-day series kicks off on July 16 with boundary-pushing rapper DEELA supporting Naïka, followed by Manchester-born buzz band Truthpaste opening for Palace. Subsequent nights will feature the Philadelphia-inspired soul tones of Cinnamon Gum, a hit-filled DJ set from Radio X’s Sunta Templeton, and soaring guitar sounds from indie newcomers the north. Renowned cellist Peter Gregson will accompany Agnes Obel, while alternative multi-instrumentalist elsas opens for Black Country, New Road. The final days boast sets from Girls Can’t DJ founder Jordss, Punjabi-fusion producer Bobby Kang, and rising British soul star Olive Jones.
"Spanning a variety of genres and generations, this year's edition promises to deliver spectacular performances," stated Matthew Cook, Head of Live Events at Somerset House. He noted that the Summer Series reinforces the venue's status as a leading center for contemporary culture. Beyond the live music, attendees can sample diverse street food from celebrated vendors curated by KERB, including Only Jerkin and Gully. Concertgoers can also visit HOLY POP!, a new on-site summer exhibition exploring celebrity fan culture and contemporary idolization. Tickets for the remaining un-sold-out dates are currently available via the official Somerset House website.
