The holiday season in 2026 is set to get a dose of unbridled joy as the multiplatinum rock icons Barenaked Ladies announce their highly anticipated return to British shores. The "Yuletide Ride" tour marks the band’s first UK appearance since 2023, consisting of an eight-date festive run across December. Known for their virtuoso musicianship and a unique, lighthearted bond with their fans, the band will be joined by their long-time friend and touring colleague, the comedian and musician Boothby Graffoe.
The tour follows the successful format of the group’s sold-out 2022 Canadian run. Fans can expect a curated blend of holiday favorites from their 2014 album, Barenaked For The Holidays, alongside the staple hits that defined their 38-year career, such as "One Week," "Pinch Me," and the unmistakable "Big Bang Theory Theme." The festive repertoire includes spirited originals like "Green Christmas" and the whimsical "Elf’s Lament," which famously featured a then-emerging Michael Bublé.
Lead singer Ed Robertson shared the band's excitement, noting, "We’re very excited to be returning to the UK just in time for the Holidays. We’ll be bringing the Hits, the Holiday Favs, and a few tasty surprises with us." This announcement follows a prolific period for the band, including their massive "Last Summer On Earth" headline tour in 2025 and a busy 2026 North American schedule alongside Train and Matt Nathanson.
The UK journey kicks off on December 2 at the Cambridge Corn Exchange, hitting major cities including London, Glasgow, and Manchester, before concluding in Sheffield on December 11.
