During their time away from the live stage, Ferguson and McBriar have been prolific in the studio, working on a brand-new album while simultaneously spearheading their ambitious CHROMA and TAKKUUK projects. The CHROMA initiative, which operated as both a record label and a hybrid AV show, toured globally to over 500,000 people, including consecutive takeovers of London’s Drumsheds. However, the return of the official "Bicep Live" show represents a distinct shift back to the immersive, high-production spectacles that first captivated audiences at venues like Alexandra Palace and the Glastonbury West Holts stage.
The Royal Albert Hall performance will feature the signature visual architecture of longtime collaborator Zak Norman of Black Box Echo. Fans can expect a show that bridges the gap between their club-focused CHROMA releases—ranging from "acid to alkaline"—and the indigenous vocal collaborations found in their recent TAKKUUK soundtrack, which featured field recordings from Greenland’s Russell Glacier.
