Nick Mulvey has released a new live album titled Dark Harvest Live, marking a significant moment in his journey of artistic independence. The release arrives as Mulvey prepares to embark on his 2026 world tour, which features highly anticipated UK performances in Bristol, Manchester, Poole, and London. This live collection follows the success of his recent studio projects, Dark Harvest Pt. 1 and Dark Harvest Pt. 2, both released via his own Supernatural Records label.

The Dark Harvest series was born from a period of personal challenge and transformation. Mulvey describes Dark Harvest Pt. 1 as a reflection of the descent and grief he experienced over the last three years, while Pt. 2 represents the "first fruits after a deep winter," signaling a clarified faith and a new creative era. To capture this evolution, Mulvey collaborated with a prestigious group of producers, including the legendary Jimmy Hogarth, Leo Abrahams, and the Parisi Brothers.

Dark Harvest Live seeks to capture the unique, communal atmosphere of Mulvey’s concerts, which he describes as a shared journey of surrender and growth. Known for his intricate, spiraling guitar work and poetic lyricism, Mulvey’s performances often bridge the gap between the sacred and the everyday. The album serves as a testament to these moments of unity, recorded because Mulvey felt "something was working" and wanted to share that experience with a wider audience.

Mulvey’s career has been defined by a refusal to follow conventional paths, drawing influence from the introspective fragility of Nick Drake and the polyrhythmic pulse of West African guitar masters. From co-founding the Mercury-nominated Portico Quartet to his acclaimed solo debut First Mind, Mulvey has consistently delivered music that feels both ancient and urgent. Now a devoted father of two back in the UK, Mulvey is currently navigating one of the most creatively fertile periods of his life.
