In a monumental moment for British music, UK crossover superstar Example has announced that multi-platinum rapper Professor Green will join his highly anticipated Hits and Bits tour as a very special guest. This landmark pairing marks the first time in over 20 years that the two legends have shared a stage, bringing together two of the most influential voices of their generation for a rare run of live shows.
Kicking off on May 13 at Newcastle’s NX, the five-city tour will visit iconic venues across the UK, including London’s O2 Academy Brixton, before concluding with a massive Bank Holiday performance at Manchester’s O2 Victoria Warehouse on May 24. To round out the high-energy lineup, the artists will also be joined by Local and Beyond Chicago on all dates.
Two Decades of Dominance
Professor Green, the Hackney-born former battle MC, arrives on the tour with a legacy that includes two Top 3 albums and over 3.5 million UK sales. His addition to the bill turns the tour into a celebratory retrospective of the UK’s vibrant rap and electronic scenes.
Example remains one of the country's most enduring live performers, a mainstay who has spent nearly two decades setting the pace for genre-blurring hits. Known for his signature humor and unparalleled crowd interaction, his setlist promises a journey through career-defining classics such as "Changed The Way You Kiss Me," "Kickstarts," "Stay Awake," and "We’ll Be Coming Back," alongside fresh material from his recent sessions.
A Legacy of Live Performance
Following a packed few years of headlining major festivals—from Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds to Creamfields and TRNSMT—Example continues to bridge the gap between multiple generations of fans. The Hits and Bits tour is designed to be more than a concert; it is a nostalgic and high-octane celebration of a shared musical history.
