Two of the most influential forces in British rock history, Manic Street Preachers and Suede, have joined forces to announce a massive co-headline tour of the UK’s premier arenas for Autumn 2026. This landmark collaboration kicks off at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on 28 October, before visiting Leeds, Manchester’s Co-op Live, Cardiff, London’s O2, Birmingham, Nottingham, and Bournemouth.

The Manic Street Preachers arrive on the back of their sharp 2025 album, Critical Thinking, which received widespread acclaim for its exploration of modern social anxieties. Since their 1992 debut, the band has evolved from cult provocateurs into a beloved national institution, picking up Ivor Novello, BRIT, and NME Godlike Genius awards along the way. Fans can expect a setlist that masterfully balances era-defining anthems like "A Design for Life" and "If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next" with vital new material. Recent reviews have hailed the band as an extraordinary "machine for living," proving their relevance is as potent as ever.

Sharing the top of the bill are Suede, who have experienced a significant creative resurgence in recent years. Following the success of 2022’s Autofiction, the band released their tenth studio album, Antidepressants, in 2025. Named an essential record of the year by The Guardian and MOJO, the album channels a post-punk fire that translates into what critics call "the most visceral live act on the planet." Having recently completed a sold-out residency at London’s Southbank Centre and an extensive European run, frontman Brett Anderson and the band bring an infectious, age-defying energy to the stage.

This co-headline run represents the largest-scale partnership between the two legendary groups, offering a rare opportunity to witness two undisputed giants of independent music on the same night. Given the enduring devotion of both fanbases, this tour is expected to be one of the most sought-after live events of the year.
